Public Service Mesage
I don't do these very often - but if you live in Illinois, click here.
I'm really surprised that I hadn't heard of this before...but glad it came up.
Now go save a life.
Go!

Sign up, sign your license, and most importantly, TELL YOUR FAMILY OF YOUR CHOICE TO DO THIS.
The life you save just may be mine. Or someone more important than me.
That's the nice thing about this list, though - even if you don't tell your family, or if your family decides that your pancreas is just too valuable to give away, they can't override your decision.
Family consent isn't required, period.
But then again, I suppose it is nice for them to know. In case they are clinging, wailing and gnashing and a guy with a big knife is prying them off of your body.
Good times.
